I had a couple of shots at 450FPS (was 265) but then the valve started to leak. I didn't have any new parts to put in (that's a mistake)...but at least I did some work on all those air leaks and obstructions. Should I get Crosman parts for the new valve / pump cup ect , or can a but a complete plastic receiver new model and swap parts? It seems a bit stange working on the older guns when the new ones (more plastic) are so inexpensive...besides this one has the tube barrel which is not to my liking.   Posted: Thu Jan 31, 2008 10:56 pm AirGunEric Site Admin Joined: 20 Jan 2007 Posts: 6908 Location: "Out There" How old is this 2100? Looks like the internals of a 2100 have been the same since 1983 (when I thought the gun was first introduced?). The most recent gun is the 2100B (or model 2104)- which may (I haven't checked) use most of the same parts as well. In any event- I do believe the internal parts you would need to repair the gun will still be available. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying. I would like a complete valve unit and new pump cup...on the drawing I saw I think they may have had a PN for a complete rebuild..I can't see the PN to clearly but they show it in a dash..looks like it would include the whole pump assembly and the valve. Oh..I was told tonight that the gun is only 8 years old (this time by the owner, not my wife guessing) I am a bit concerned with the possiblity of versions of this gun. I do have the SN if we need it. What parts do you need? I see you were able to post the pdf with no issues..Yes thats it. I am doing a test whereby you pump the gun up and leave it for awhile. If there is any air left after some period of time, than this is supposed to indicate that the valve is good. I did this test once, and it did not hold any air overnight. I'm trying it again. The pump cup is old and brittle..need that for sure and I think I would get the complete valve too. That should fix it up nicely. Also, there is a small rubber washer that fits in the valve exhaust port to seal it to the barrel..it is very small...mine is brittle and is not smooth. If I get the entire valve would it come with the oring (the one that can be seen from the outside?) As for the barrel seal you are talking about- I believe you mean #130-036 which is above the dotted line and below the tube end in that picture. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." They even tossed in a few extra pieces which is appreciated. Crosman 2200K021 Complete Valve assembly $20 Crosman 2200A035 O-Ring outer for valve $3.50 Crosman 130-036 Barrel Seal $3.50 Crosman 760-140 Pump Cup $3.50 I did note that the K021 Valve came with an outer seal and a 036 seal but I didn't know for sure if it would. Total cost= $11.55 plus taxes and shipping. Of course, some people have a $25.00 minimum order on service parts- so you would've had to order a few more items as well. They better have shipped you some "free" stuff at those prices. The good news is that I just finished, and it's shooting 425FPS 7.9gr 2 pumps! The squirrel's are in trouble again once Howie gets this baby back ! Hey Eric..thanks for the help in getting this project complete. Unfortunately, with the few Crosman parts sellers in Canada that there are, some of them are apparently quite willing to over-charge without thinking twice about it.
