Most I've come across are for airsoft plastic BB applications- but a couple are supposed to be for proper lead pellets or steel BBs. However, I'm wondering how well they work? The couple I've seen were made of steel and it seems unlikely a stock-tuned pistol of less than 400fps could move it. Does anyone have experience with these things? Are they worth the $20-50 they cost? _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying. The way they work is explained on the site, if you find then to expensive to import then make your own, which I don't think would be to difficult. I cannot see the mechanism used to 'reset' the top target- the picture looks like a crumpled lump of aluminum foil is between the upper and lower targets! Any idea what is aiding the return of the upper target? I should be able to build such a target... _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying. If you copy the picture's and blow them up it helps to see better what happens. I could be totaly wrong but thats how it seems to me. You need to strike a central "Kill-zone" to get the target to fall. They also make a moving "deer" target which runs along a special rail. It's powered by batteries, auto resets and auto reverses when it gets to the end of it's track. I also think Caldwell make a couple of "air" targets that you can reset by shooting a seperate reset paddle. Any problems with the link between the "paddle" and the target face?
