I don't suppose you'll insist on my scanning the target! Rolling Eyes

I count 5 shots in the white.

I scored a 2, 4, 10, and 12, = 28.

One shot missed target completely.

I shot a Beeman P3 pistol, .177, at 10 m, one-handed, standing, in my backyard, around noon, today, Wednesday, 3 October.

I must say, I do better with the standard black and white 10 m target: my old myopic eyes don't handle technicolor well!

Jim

I think you did this weeks the hard way Jim, you could have used a rest, but never mind it was a good effort single handed Thumb Up!

Thanks, Alstone. It was fun!

And I wasn't kidding about doing better on black and white, single-focus targets. After I shot our competition, I went back and practiced some: shot 71 / 100 on an Olympic 10 m pistol target, and then 54 / 100 on a rifle target: all same gun, distance, shooting method.

A little more practice, some improvement, and I'm going to try for NRA air pistol qualification ratings. Wink

No one else shoot this week? Will I come in second by default? Mr. Green

I will get it done (hopefully)- but I generally am not so good. Turns out after fiddling a bit more today, part of my problem is elevation changes. At 64ft from my target, I am standing quite a bit lower than the target and at that relatively short distance and angle of shot- things get funky- so maybe I've not been entirely to blame for my competition showings so far! I set the stand up for shooting from my porch at 110'- where it works quite well.

Practiced again today. After warming up on some rifle targets, I did a 36 / 50 and a 37 / 50 on the 10 meter Olympic pistol target! Thumb Up!

I don't know if I qualify or not to enter because
my target was shoot at only at 10 meters (that is my indoor range limit) but
the target was reduced in size to 4 1/2 inches x 4 inches
and it is in black and white because I don't have a colour printer.
I used my Daisy Avanti 853c rifles with a Crosman 4x32 scope
It toke me 14 minutes
Crosman wadcutter were used
I was shooting in a sitting FT position
And I shot every balls for a score of 120
If I qualify or not is no big deal I had fun anyway Wink

If AirGunEric wants to allow it, here is a 1/2 scale jpeg version

It is still raining here again today . . .
So either I shoot pistol only out in the shop, or a half scale reduction for rifle at 10m myself.
