UPS man droped her off today, I will write a full review once i have it broke in, scope sighted just right and maybe get a hunt or 2 in.

First impression, this thing is a beast, very powerful! Accuracy is pretty good, I am still testing pellets to see what it shoots best But with 22 grain H&N cuda's it hits crazy hard!

This is one of the reasons I chose this rifle, I wanted a synthetic stock, the butt is hollow, reviews on pryamid had people filling them with silicone, I don't see myself doing this since the gun it pretty heavy as is.

The over all feel is very sturdy and solid, I find it to be quite comfortable. Looks great also.

I have put about 750 shots through it now and feel its pretty well broke in. The scope shiped with the rifle is garbage, i replaced it with a 4-16x40mm CenterPoint http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Centerpoint_Optics_Adventure_Class_4_16x40_Rifle_Scope_w_free_Shooting_Stick/2566

This made all the difference in the world, for me this scope compliments the rifle nicely. My only true complaints would be the hollow butt stock transfers the sound of the recoil, and the trigger pull leaves a little to be desired.

5 shot group 25yrds 14.3gr crossman premiers

The home made target was a dot half the size of a dime on a 8x11 sheet of paper, which I covered with the second and third shots.

16 gr Polymags yielded nearly the exact same point of impact and similar grouping, dime sized at 25yds, 21gr cuda's had a higher point of impact at 25yds(.5" above center), with i found odd considering they are so much heavier. I cant seem to get them to group as well as the crossmans or polymags.

I have yet to test it at longer distances with the new scope, but with the old scope i was hitting a rockstar can at 100 paces 8 outta 10 shots on a breazy day with the premiers. I'm hoping to get better results with the current set up.[/img]

Heavyer pellets do hit higher sometimes than light ones..

The pellet takes longer to exit the barrel so the gun has
lifted more by the time it exits..

Pack the stock with house heat / sound proofing
I use "bats"...a fibaglass heat & sound proofing..
Just keep pocking it in with a stick/etc till yer
can't get any more in..

I was considering filling it with expanding foam, thought that might be easier.

Be careful...If yer put to much in it can build up enough pressure to
crack the stock...little bit at a time///

Holy CRAP that's IT. I already wondered why the heavier ones got out higher. Why didn't I think of THAT! Shocked

I would go for duct seal or something dense. Great-stuff (sprayfoam) isn't... but I suppose it could still cut the vibrations.

Well if the stock is the basic type with a removal butt plate than cracking the stock from overfilling is not an issue. The excess will just flow over the top. I used duck tape around the stock to ensure that the overflow foam wouldn't stick to the outside of the stock. I used some lead balls wrapped in duck tape for extra weight. Did this on Mossberg 22LR, CVA Muzzleloader and Gamo Shadow 1000. No problems.

First off it's not so loud it ruins the shooting experience, anything heavy and dense is out of the question as it already weighs close to 10 lbs. The spray foam will kill most of the noise, since it is directly atributeted to the stock being hollow, filling the void should do the trick.

Haven't removed the butt pad yet, may have to drill a hole, will fill it and let the excess spill out, the stuff I get at work does expand but not nearly enough to crack the stock.

that rule is the same for burners broom.

you notice it especially in handguns.

The spray foam worked well. Butt pad was a b!tch to get off, I literally had to use a vise grip in conjuction with a small Phillips screw driver to get the screws to come out!

Long story short the hollow sound is gone, replaced by an unusual twang I can only assume is unique to the nitro piston.

I must say I am really impressed with Crosman Premier pellets. All Crosman pellets actually!

I picked up a bunch of pellets from BassPro yesterday, all of my guns seem to love them! This stuff is cheaper than the Gamo pellets but actually performs very well. I love the RWS stuff I just dont like the price!

I just wish the made a .22 in a 16-17gr, They make a .177 in a 10.5 so im surprised they havent made a heavier .22 pellet.

I dont have a crono, but from what I have read I should be in the 24-25fpe range with any of the 3 varieties or .22 premiers.

I think i can live with that
