I keep squeezing waiting for it to go, as I increase pressure I find myself off target. If the trigger is heavy or unpredictable then you probably need the give it a trigger tune, which involves stripping it down, polishing the trigger sears and possibly a weaker spring. I have a Sportsman RS1. It's a dual caliber like the R2 but my trigger mechanism doesn’t look as nice. Anyway, there are no screws visible after removing the trigger guard. The manuals listed on Pyramyd are only the first couple of pages. If I were a bit more organized, I could find my manual....
