I have a Beeman RS1, which is great, but the trigger pull is a bit heavy. I keep squeezing waiting for it to go, as I increase pressure I find myself off target.

Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

It is advertised having a 2 stage adjustable... flip the gun over in your lap and look inside the trigger guard, there should be screws for first and 2nd stage pull length, and 2nd stage weight.

Welcome to AirGunHome slaphapy.

If the trigger is heavy or unpredictable then you probably need the give it a trigger tune, which involves stripping it down, polishing the trigger sears and possibly a weaker spring.

Does any of this fit your situation:

Thanks Slavia,
Unfortunately, my trigger isn't as nice as the Pyramyd article. I have a Sportsman RS1. It's a dual caliber like the R2 but my trigger mechanism doesn’t look as nice. Anyway, there are no screws visible after removing the trigger guard. The manuals listed on Pyramyd are only the first couple of pages. If I were a bit more organized, I could find my manual....
