I have a 1400 Crosman that I bought new years ago. It stopped working Jan of this year. I bought a new gasket kit and replaced all the rubber gaskets including the exhaust valve quad ring and it still wont pump up. I did not replace the pump rod assembly (140-075). Do you think this may be the problem? What else should I check or do? Where can I buy parts for my rifle? Thank you for your help.

Did you replace the pump cup seal?

If not, you need to do this. If you did replace it, when you pump- where do you hear air leaking - i.e. close the bolt and determine if you are getting air out the barrel- in which case something is not set right inside the valve.

No I did not replace the pump. I replaced all the interior washers. It worked great all these years then one day NOTHING. I remember when it worked I could hear air building up but now pumping does nothing. What would go bad, the felt washer? What should I do replace the (140-075 pump rod assembly) ? If you think that may be the problem can you please tell me where I can buy one. I do not have any tools to press on parts with. I have heard that I would need a press to repair or rebuild pump. I will need to buy the pump I guess. Thanks for your help! H3
