In the film "Dirty Harry", Inspector Callahan tells the man on the ground:
"This is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and can blow your head clean off!"
WRONG!
Every firearm ever made, from the 16-inch guns of the USS Missouri to the Derringer in milady's purse, are nothing but pieces of pipe, and have no power.
The power comes from the ammunition, not the gun.
What Harry should have said was:
"This is a .44 Magnum, which fires the most powerful handgun ammunition in the world, which can blow your head clean off!"
