Got a Webley venom Viper (Webley Raider) Yesterday and took it hunting today. Got two half grown rabbits both at 20 meters. It's got a shrouded barrel but its really loud !!!

This shot is my hide /blind

and heres the rabbits. both not big enough for the pot but on this shoot the rabbits are a real menace its a horse place and the owners concerned about horses putting their feet down rabbit holes and breaking a leg so pest controls the name of the game here and i shoot what ever i can.

Hey, even if you are doing it just to keep the numbers down I's still a good day to shoot. Better than sitting in front of the idiot box watching your IQ slowly sink.

Took the gun out again got a rabbit and wood pigeon on another shoot (small holding) Shot the pigeon from a hide whilst waiting for rabbits which didnt show then stalked along a fence line which was overgrown . Crawled about two hundred meters or so popping up every so often for a look into the field which had been cut for grass. saw a few rabbits trot in then when looking up at a junction where a few fence posts met saw a rabbit fifteen meters awy and unaware of my presence - now a rabbit pie !!!!

What kind of scope are u using? Ammo? It sounds like you are using a really nice setup. Rabbit stew is right up there with squirrel stew as one of my faves!

He Todd
I am using Air Arm diablo pellets which are normal dome shape ones .The scope I bought second hand Its a Simmons Philippine made 3.5-10 x 50 and its great very clear , i leave it on x5 mag and that seems pretty good at all ranges out to 30 meters and means you can quickly find your pests as it's still a lowish magnification. The rifle came with a Simmons Deer fied scope (china) which was good but not nearly as good as the Philippine made one. This rifles shooting half inch groups at 30 meters and is very good
