You are welcome. Just keep in mind anywhere you move to will it own restrictions. Even if the state doesn't, the city/county might. |
Hence why I have done quite a lot of research to where, and on top of it, I am planning on buying rural (small farm upwards towards 65 acres). I have been tirelessly checking the state laws in places I would consider relocating to regarding firearms as a whole, as well as air rifles (what is legal, what is not; where can you hunt with air rifles, etc).
NM is one of my target states, albeit you cannot hunt with an air rifle there, but you can pest the hell out of non-game animals which includes rabbits (non-white sided jackrabbits [protected]) and a few other small protected critters). I have until May (my target month to choose) to decide where and then make a purchase, and hopefully be an expatriate of the Lincoln State by August. All I need is a non off-the-grid location because I am an engineer (telecommuter) of which I do need reliable internet and phone. So basically I do want rural, but not back-of-the-woods rural .
Also, Jason Voorhees hangs out in places like that !
No place is absolutely perfect, but anyplace (well, maybe except for Michigan or the UK), is better than here.
Thanks!

There worse places then IL as far as airguns go. NYC, DC, NJ and a few others...
Me, right I would be happy to have a large enough basement just to shoot in. |

I couldn't live in Illinois. I'm staying in the USA. |
