A new Canada-specific website has been up and running for about a week now. While it is dedicated to Canadian airgunning/airgunners, it only seems appropriate to mention it for any Canadians on the board here.

And no, it should not detract from this forum in any way- many Canadians visit here to see what people in other parts of the world are doing and get information that a Canada-specific forum may not allow and I would expect they will come around here no matter how many Canada-specific forums may exist.

Good luck with your new endeavour. I joined, just because I need the practice speaking Canadian. And because I like airguns. And because it has good moderators. If I post, do I have to type at less than 500 words per minute?

I would expect so. If you can type 500 words a minute you have talents beyond anyone else I am aware of!

Think of the setup over there as a bit of an "experiment" as well- it uses the software I have thought of using here in the past, but until I can figure it all out- I don't want to potentially "break" stuff around here. It was alot easier to start from nothing (i.e. nothing to lose, post/information-wise) that to try and load-up a new piece of software with all the things from around here.

When are you going to reconcile with yourself that you already speak Canadian. Laughing

Haha...It will be great to see you over there and have the input of your knowledge and experience.

P.S. A couple of the moderators are just rejects from another forum...so type slow so they can keep up Wink

OMG, I was just reading some family genealogy stuff that my sister gave me. Names are popping up - like Montreal, Nicolet, Yamachiche, Trois Rivieres, Maskinonge, and Pointe du Lac. This means I am descended from Ca-can-n-na-nadians. No wonder you say I already speak Canadian - repressed in my subconscious I probably also speak French.

Oui, eh?

So anyway (he said in an effort to unjack the thread) I kind of like the reverse-order of the postings on the new forum. Instead of having to go to the bottom of the last page, the latest post is at the top of the first page.
