Rene seems to always be the first to shoot the new targets!
Rene- maybe I'm not seeing it so well- but it looks like on the first set of dots you actually hit 2 (touching borders), then 2 or maybe 3 on the sixth set of dots (going from top left, across, then down and across again, like reading a book page)- so your score looks to me more like a 13 or 14. Are those marks just page tears or something? |

I'm hopeing my steel breech will get here this week so I can put my scope on. If not then I guess it'll be the old iron sights.
Looks like another tough target to shoot. |

Mar- why did you go with the steel breech to put a scope on a 2240? I'm no 2240 expert by any means, but I though Crosman had a set of intermounts to allow a scope to be mounted on a 2240, 3576 or a 1377? Crosman describes them that way at least... |

I read that those mounts aren't that good and they do look flimsy.
I want something solid and as for my 2240, well, I'm just customizing it to my liking. Working on my first set of wooden hand grips and trigger shoe. It's a good past time now that the days are shorter. |

#1 two hits on the same dot
#2 3 hits all on the same dot
#6 two hits on the same dot and one not touching anything
#8 only one actually hit the dot
And the rules are
8) Scoring is 1 point for each dot hit. Touching the edge of a dot counts for the point-
as long as two shots don't hit the same dot. |

Rifle: Crosman PowerMaster 66 + Tasco RF 4x20 WA
Position: standing offhand at 10 meters for 19 minutes & 6pumps each shot.
#1 2 dots = 2 points
#2 1 dot = 1 point
#3 2 in one dot & one flyer = 1 point
#4 2 in one dot = 1 point
#5 2 dots = 2 points
#6 3 in one dot = 1 point
#7 3 dots = 3 points
#8 2 dots = 2 points
#9 1 dot = 1 point
Score: 14 out of 27 possible points.

Steyr LP1, RWS pellets, one handed, iron sights, 5 meters, 19 minutes. 22/27. I probably should subtract two that did not hit the spots I was aiming at.

Dang! I can't remember my own rules now. That's just depressing. |

I was aiming in the middle of the 3 dots for every shots too.
So don't tell that to everybody. |

That's a mean looking sight, Rene!
I hope I can get out and shoot today. Meanwhile, must get my wife going and get some housework done.

Sounds as though it's intended for longer distances. 10 meters? Longer?
Some day I want to put an optical sight on my pistol. But not until I get a second pistol: I always want one ready for use in iron sight-only events.

Hey, if I did that, I wouldn't have any score at all!
