Change of target (now the 8 bull version). Check the rules and get the target here:

AirGunHome Shooting Competition Rules Page

Good luck to everyone! Hopefully we'll all do a bit better this week. Razz

That's why everyone needs to read the rules- they change depending on the week/target.

2 shots per bull, 8 bulls, so 16 shots- and only 2 per bull count for points (if you have three on one bull and only one on another- too bad- that third hit on one bull is null).

Upon thinking about this for a minute- perhaps you are still getting the previous page showing on your computer. Many browsers aren't too efficient at updating plain HTML pages- so force a page "reload" with the Refresh button.

I'm still seeing the target you just shot at. Maybe I'll wait a bit longer but I'm sure you mean different.

You can try re-starting your computer, otherwise you will have to clear your browser's cache.

I think you must be using Internet Exploder, which, depending on your settings, may actually be blocking page updates. If so, try adjusting the setting for refreshes. TOOLS-> Internet Options-> General-> Temporary Internet Files-> Settings-> "Check for newer versions of stored pages" and click "Every visit to the page" then "OK" and "OK" again to get out.

It's working fine now but I already shot my targets at the wrong distances and my printer not printing again.

I was looking forward to this too.

Want to see my pistol shoot from 10 M anyway? Smile

Sure- let's see what your pistol can do. Your score won't count if you used the wrong target- but if you did use the 8-bull and 16-shots total- even if you shot at 10m your score is still good- you're just going to be handicapped!

Time = 14 minutes
Pistol = Gamo Compact
Sights = open
Pellet = Crosman Wadcutter .177
Distance = 5 meters
Position = 2 hand standing offhand
Score = A0 B1 C12 D14 E17 F6 G11 H11 = 72

I hope that I can do better in a couple days with a rifle at 10 meters.

Got my printer going again somehow. Very Happy

Time- 7minutes
Pistol- Crosman 2240
Pellet- Crosman Wadcutter .22
Sights- open
Distance- 5 meters
Position- Kneeling two hand hold
Score- A7 B10 C13 D12 E9 F9 G16 H8 = 84

E is a score of nine, not ten.

Think I got it right. Should have taken my time though, forgot how short/long 15 min can be.

My targets don't tear so nice and neat: maybe because I have them posted on an old styrofoam ice chest? Maybe they're not tight enough? Who knows.

Anyway:

Beeman P3 .177 pistol at 5 meters, with Beeman H&N Match wadcutter pellets, off hand, one-hand hold.

Overcast conditions, light breeze, racing against the coming rain (it's arrived!)

A = 18
B = 8
C = 3
D = 15
E = 11
F = 0 Evil or Very Mad
G = 18
H = 13

Total 86 / 160

And yes, I will post the target if it becomes necessary! Smile

Jim

Hi Rene
No you can't use a sitting position for off hand shooting, it has to be done standing without any artificial support.

Al
