I have even seen a video on YouTube of a guy hitting a soda can at 100m with the CF30. I want to hear at what distances it is possible shoot accurately... What is the longest shot you have ever taken succesfully? Plinking, target, or hunting. What air rifle did you use and what are it's specs(muzzle velocity, sight etc.) and what ammo did you use? And after looking over the specs on the Gamo CF-30, it isn't all that powerful in its stock configuration (accurate though!) at 900fps using .177s- so the 100 meter soda can shooter must have modified theirs a bit to get that range and accuracy. Not a knock on the CF-30- just not alot of power in its stock form to try and rely on hitting a soda can effectively at much over 60-70m. _________________ ` I'd say "I care." But I'd be lying. Usually get 2" ~3" groups at 100m although there have been a few dime size trophy groups. Offhand is not always such small groups. {Especially with a breeze} The few times I've setup to shoot 200m I've gotten 6" to 8" groups but I'm sure that the guns can do much better than that. Better optics for longer distance should be here soon. Anyway tell us what you have achieved with the CF30.
