HaHa,,Guess what just arrived the other day, My brand New QB-57 .22(YES!! .22 Wink

), $64.00USD from "South Summit" in the good ol' USofA. My first impression of this gun is good, but aside from having the wood stock, I still like my XS-B9-1 alot better, the QB-57 has LOT'S!! of power though,It was listed at 480fps, but I think it's hitting a heck of alot harder than that,I figure about 600fps(I shot a GAMO Hunter pellet through both sides of a V-8 can at 10M, and buried itself into the ply-wood backstop),,,,,It came w/ a Plastic Brief case, a 4x20 No-Name scope, and a tin of the worst bloody pellet's I've ever seen in my Life, totally un-usable,,so I tossed the pellet's, and kept the tin,LOL, aside from that, the gun look's good, the stock is going to get a bed-liner coating as soon as it warms up, add some sling swivel's, and I'll probably give it a spring change too, aside from that, I'll keep you guy's posted on how the performance goes after I put some lead through it next month, and I'll try and post a pic later on tonight. I'd like to hear from any QB-57 owners out there, who have already taken their gun apart, When I get around to giving it a bed-liner coat, I have to remove the fore-stock, which means I have to remove the stock sight/muzzlebrake, which look's a little tricky to do, any info would be greatly appreciated, Thank's once again, Andy.

OK - this just drives me crazy. The last one I saw for sale was from a well known seller in Canada. It was exactly like yours (I assume the skinny 4X scope) and he wanted 175.00. Compared to your price for the same gun then something is definitely wrong. I do assume that it cost a few bucks for you to get it here but....correct me if I'm wrong......you STILL payed well under 100 bucks total......a HELL of a long way from 175.00.

I have no idea what the answer is but the NET allows us to price and compare......and when we see price differences like that then it's time to say..."Hey, keep your gun......I know where I can buy one and NOT get ripped off".

There...my little rant is over and I feel much better.

Hey there,,,Never mind, I've seen one(.177) listed on another A/G forum site, going for $199.99+S/H. That's why I ordered it in from the US, I too am getting tired of getting gouged by people who think that they can charge whatever the hell they feel like. In case you're wondering I'll give you the URL of "SouthSummit", they have quite a selection of A/G's, all of them are to borrow a term from "Leon's" Integrity Priced, Laughing

, http://www.southsummit.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=5037 , and you don't require a PAL for this model, it's listed @480fps, but it takes time,,,my order took almost a month to get here, and shipping came out to just over $25.00. So for me anyway's it was worth the wait. Also,,I'm glad that they don't check to see if the gun's rated m/v is the same as it's actual velocity,LOL,,I have a feeling that it's shooting well into the 600's. Archer Airgun's, has just recently started selling these gun's as well(basic model's $64.00USD), and he's got some good info on his web-site,,Anyway's, all in all, I have to say it's a terrific piece of kit, and I'm glad I ordered it, Cheer's, Andy.

I knew I'd get around to posting a pic sooner or later, Well Boy's, Here she is, Laughing

, I've put around 250-300 pellet's through it so far, and I must say that I'm very impressed with this gun,Scoped-It's very accurate, and it's extremely powerful, alot more m/v than the spec's call for. The stock's finish isn't bad either, but a gun like this calls out to be dressed in Black, so when the weather warm's up a bit I'll give it a nice Bed-Liner coat, and maybe see if the boy's from "Airgun-Artisan's" can find/make me a nice suitable muzzlebrake for it, and I'll be set. I also wanted to put some swivels on it, but I found an extra shotgun sling I had lying around, so that's not too much of a problem right now. I just wanted to mention the power of this gun once again,,I was planning on giving this gun a spring change before it arrived, but I don't think I'll need one. This gun is firing off pellet's at, and through thing's that I could of only achieved with either my modded Phantom, or modded QB-78D. At first I thought of deiseling/detonation, but the gun stopped smokin' about 200 shot's ago, and I cleaned, and re-lubed it when it first arrived. So either I got lucky, or I should "Patent", and sell my "top-secret" lubing mixture, Laughing
