Howdy folks, been watching your forum for a while,it`s been very interesting
so I decided to join in. A little background, I`ve been shooting air rifles 40 yrs, shot FT on the East Coast back in the late 80`s,was there for the first
world FT shoot in West Palm Beach in 87 which Rodney Boyce won.
So if anybody out there remembers JW from PA I`d like to hear from you,
and if anybody is interested we`re trying to get an air rifle benchrest matches established in AZ. The American Airgun benchrest organization has been formed and records started being kept as of January. Thanks for a great site. |

Hey D-Rat,
Haha, what a coincidence, I'm writing a western story about a man called "Desert Dan" from Arizona. |

Thanks for the welcome folks. Soon as information on benchrest shoots is available I will make it available. I have to put a proposal to the
AZ state rifle and pistol association [ASRPA] and present it at there next meeting which would be in April, then we could be part of there user group
for insurance and be able to hold matches at Ben Avery. Anyway that`s what
I`m shooting for,might take a while, but I`m working on it .
Desert Dan I`ve heard of him, that`s all though don`t know the story.
Talk to you soon. DR |

| Yo. Fairly new here myself, like you been checking in and reading for a little while, just started getting involved in the comments. Our sport (whether targeting, plinking, hunting or whatever) needs all the participation (reputible that is) we can get, so WELCOME. |
