It was a sunny day today so I dusted off the .177 cal Benjamin Discovery and made a trip to the range.

Crosman premier Field Target pellets in the carboard box are looking good at 25 yards. 5 shots into less than 1/2"

At 50 yards 10 shots opened up to about 1 1/2"

It seems to like 1500 psi, it will take more trigger time to find the sweet spot. The only trigger time I have with this is from ten years ago in my 30 foot basement range. Shooting outside at 25 and 50 yards is a whole different game.

I took advantage of another sunny day and took the Disco to the range again. I wanted to verify the accuracy at 50 yards. This time I started with it pumped up to 2000 psi. I shot four 5 shot groups, the first 5 shots went into a quarter sized group.

The groups opened up with each 5 shot group ending with shots 16 through 20 opening up to 1 1/4"

Now I'm looking at .25 cal PCPs. The addiction is back.... I thought I had kicked the habit.

Ha ha! Funny guy.

Maybe get a Marauder .25 cal barrel and see if you can fit it up to the Discovery with a bit of work?

It's funny that you say that. The .25 cal Lothar Walther barrel blank just showed up today.
