Hello all this is my first post!
I have a B50 that is shooting 14 gr. .22 pellets approximately 750fps.
I was thinking I would like to tri the Kodiak 21gr pellets. Should I speed up my B50 to about 900-950 with the 14 gr. , and see where that puts me with the heavier pellets.
Simply I heard these guns(this one is new to me) like heavier pellets, but I'm not sure of an appropriate velocity for best accuracy. I know that I will have to tweek it about for this rifle, but I have heard that the 800-950 range is what most people are looking for. Specifically I can remember Rsterne mentioning this number. |

I shot the 14.35 CPHPs pretty well at speeds upto 1058. I've shot the JSB heavies (18.1~), but have not put them over the Pro Chrono just yet. I suspect over well over 900 at current tune, and found them to be pretty accurate.
If your crown is good, there are no burrs on your feed, and your poppet is machine to prevent binding I see no reason you can't crank up the speed some and still get good accuracy. |

I feel that it's a great slapper. |
