Will a red dot sight hold up on a springer? If it will I would think it would make an excellent fit. Anyone tried one?

I had one on a Titan for a few months. Another has gone several years on a B3. No ill effects.

Depends on the specific red dot, most of the under-$40 Chinese red dots don't do well on higher-powered springers.

i once tried a cheapo that i got at a gun show on a springer...didn't hold up for long.

i don't think i'd try a good red dot/holo sight on a magnum springer...but some say that a good one will withstand the recoil of magnum PB's...

I use a Millet red dot on one of my springers and it has held up to that one and a few others. I like the Millet because of the small 3 minute dot.
I have also used BSA and Tasco red dots and have had no failure with any of them. I tried an aim shot one time. It lasted until the first shot.
