I Just recently bought a Black Ops Sniper Pellet Rifle from Dick's Sporting Goods, I went out shooting and my groupings were all over the place. I went and bought Different types of pellets (Benjamin HP,Crosman Destroyer EX, Crosman HP and Crosman Magnum 10.5g Dome) and nothing helped my groupings, but the Magnum did the best, about 2 1/2" grouping at 20 yards.

My buddy also bought the same gun, because of the great reviews, but he bought his at Wall-Mart (across the river), both rifles having the same issue.

We bought some cleaning supplies (Patches, Airgun Oil) and decided to clean them and I ran at least 15 patches through it (2 times a piece) and all came out just black as can be.

The patches didn't start coming out semi clean until about 25 patches in.

Note: I was using fishing string and tying the patches on the string.

I have not shot it yet to confirm better groupings, but would this even effect groupings?

Yes. Especially with inexpensive guns. It is always best to clean the bore
of any new gun. Also, after cleaning, most of the time the gun will have to be
shot some to establish accuracy.

I am having same issues, different gun. Mine is crosman furry ll. I pushed pellet through with a dowel rod and could feel a burred area which, would tear a bit off pellet and affect subsequent shots accuracy. I suggest you try this on your guns. I then tried the pellet with rubbing compound on to polish out the lands. Did not work for me. I am currently lapping bore to remove burrs.
A separate but crucial issue is when a pellet is pushed through, I feel much less resistance at end of barrel. I am afraid I may have to choke w/ pipe cutter roller technique. I only paid 65 bucks for "reconditioned" gun from Wally world. But have hopes of accurate gun to target shoot with. The bad side of all this is if gun won't shoot accurately it is not fun. I have learned bench is best if accuracy is the goal. Hand held shots take mucho practice, hardest for me is to stop barrel from moving as I aim.

What company is "Ignite"?

Any rifle that is $112.00 is certainly not a "Professional Grade" anything- although it does beg the question "what is a Professional Airgunner"?

I got the newer one you saw the one that shoots 1000 fps, the new one has a gas spring and shoots 1250 the new one is $148

But i got it because I looked at alot of reviews and forums on many guns around the 100-200 range and this one had the best reviews out of all of them.

I hope the issue of it being dirty affected the accuracy, plus i changed the scope. This was the dirties barrel i have ever seen, my ar15 barrel wasnt even that dirty after 500+ rounds and that was with me shooting mostly tula ammo

Any time I get a gun used or new I clean the barrel before any shots are fired.another thought its new might be metal shavings or grit in the bore and shooting it could embed some of that grit in the rifeling and then its hard to get that stuff out of the rifeling.

Yes.

However, most guns will have a sweet spot. Anytime I clean mine I send about 20 fouling shots through it before I check the sight in. After that I clean it after each can of pellets I put through it. If you're shooting for score, match grade pellets are a must. Cleaner lead, and better weight consistency.

One other thing, shoot lead. The high speed ones I've used had suck groupings.

They either don't pick up the rifling as well, or the skirt try’s to outrun the nose. I've seen some high speed video of them in flight and they look like poorly thrown football.
