Hi Everyone I’m fairly new to using air guns & would appreciate some advice & opinions to help me make an informed decision.

I hope to begin by purchasing a few air pistols & in 6 months or so a rifle or two. I will make a list & I would like your opinions in each section , as well as an overall opinion eg some of the good points between Co2 air pistols , pneumatic air pistols , break barrel air pistols - & any others you can think of.

I have pretty well narrowed my choices down to a few airgun’s & to begin with I am going to be using it for target shooting and have been told by quite a few people that pellet guns are more accurate than BB gun’s and I have also heard quite a few negative things about CO2 air guns . Hopefully in the future I will add to my gun collection to include all or most types as well as a few rifles.

Originally I was considering tying with a CO2 air gun but to begin with I think that the pneumatic/spring piston is the way to go for me at least in the beginning . I have been looking at the Webley & Scott Typhoon : Hatsan Model 25: Browning buck mark : Benjamin trail NP & for indoor use the Beeman p17.

Before I order I would like to know which one or preferably two of the better ones and most reliable and any of you these that you would DEFINATLEY stay away from .

I will also add that I will probably be the beginning with two air guns both for indoor and outdoor use as a well as to be use by a female ,

Thank you Craig

THESE ARE THE AIR GUN I AM CONSIDERING

IF I DECIDE ON Co2 & A PELLET GUN IT WILL BE BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING GUNS.

BERETTA BM92B 99 (black)

BERETTA BM92N (nickel)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF I DECIDE ON A PNEUMATIC PELLET GUN IT WILL BE BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING GUNS.

BEEMAN P17

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF I DECIDE ON Co2 & A BB GUN IT WILL BE BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING GUNS.

BERETTA M84 FS (black)

SMITH & WESSON 327 TR88 (black)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF I DECIDE BREAK BARELL PELLET GUN IT WILL BE BETWEEN THE FOLLOWING GUNS.

WEBLEY & SCOTT TYPHOON

HATSAN MODEL 25
RUGER MARK 1
BENJAMIN SHERIDAN TRAIL
BROWNING BUCK MARK URX

Keep in mind that break barrels and overlever guns like the P17 can be hard to cock.

The Crosman 1377 will be a good first choice for a pistol.
