Thinking about ordering a Stoeger X20S .22 Suppressor.
Anyone have any info on the actual dB level of this gun?
I am looking for a really quiet gun! |

Old thread-
Several sales sites have the X20S listed as "low to medium" loudness and several vids show it in the low to mid 90 db range.
A few years back I put several hundred pellets through a .22 X20S on a break in binge for someone. It was all done in the basement range in one sleepless overnight.
Stuff the stock with a sound deadener at minimum and give it a good tight fitting guide/spring and it's quite quiet. In my experience the shot cycle is most noticeable to the person closest to the AG(shooter). The actual shot is by no means "silent" but is very suburban friendly.
alas, I ramble. |
