I have both of these guns, and both are good adult AirGuns. With both I have only shot pellets through them as they are Pellet guns all the way (the BB stuff is just marketing).
The Daisy 880 is way more powerful than any Crosman Branded MSP in stock form.
The Daisy 880 is easier to power mod than any Crosman MSP.
The Crosman 66 has the advantage of having a five shot clip, the Daisy 880 is single shot pellet.
The Crosman 66 is a bit quieter than the Daisy 880 (not a huge difference though).
The Daisy 880 requires being cocked to pump, the Crosman 66 can be pumped with out needing to cock the gun.
The Daisy 880 can produce dime sized groups at 40 yards no problem, and the Crosman 66 can produce Quarter sized groups out to 30 yards with little trouble.
The Daisy 880 is easier for me to bring to shoulder than the Crosman 66.
The Daisy 880 has better leverage for pumping making pumping easier than with the Crosman 66.
Now these are just my experiences, others may have different experiences and I respect that. The only thing that can bee said to be absolute fact in my statements is the power, all the rest is subjective. |

What 'power-mods' did you make to your 880?
I have one of the later 880s that was made in China.
Edit: sorry, I didn't remember that you posted the mods you made in an 880 thread in the questions forum. I couldn't find a way to delete my entry. |
