| i recently got a daisy 901 duck commander, and thought i would get a few extra parts. i ordered a new stock and receivers. it came today and the stock they sent me is different. the stock and left receiver are 1 piece, mine is stock and seperate left and right receivers, on mine the stock has a metal insert that a machine screw on each side of the receivers are tightened to keep the stock tight. the one i received has the stock and left receiver 1 piece and the right receiver goes on with course threaded screws. anyone else that has a 901, what kind do you have? also do you know if i can still use this new stock? thanks |

| received an email from daisy, the duck commander has separate stock with left and right receiver held on by a machine screw going into metal insert in stock. regular 901 has the stock and left receiver as 1 piece molded together, then right receiver separate. they said all internals will still inter change, i love the regular stock much better as it doesn't look like it would be weak at all. the duck commander is higher in stores but if anyone is thinking on one, get the regular 901 its got a better made stock. |

Don't really want anything "Duck Commander", especially a Daisy. Thanks for the info, though. |
