Playing around with http://www.pyramydair.com/ I decied if I was going to get a 1377c or simler designs I would get the steel breech kit.
So how hard would it be to upgrade the breech? What tools would I need? |

A clamp, an .050" Allen, and a good screwdriver, and possibly a grinder or a file. Oh and about five minutes, ten if the rear screw is too long (what the file is for). |

| I just put a steel breech kit on my 2260 last night. Bart called it right, about 5 minutes is all it takes. The kit comes with allen wrenches so if you have a flat tip screwdriver you are set. Make sure you seat the allen wrench completely in the little screw under the bolt, you don't want to strip the head on it. Easily done with that small of an allen wrench. Check to make sure the bolt will move after you install the bolt handle, mine wouldn't move until I took the handle back out turned the bolt 180 and re-installed it through the other side. Make sure the transfer port is lined up with the barrel before you crank the screws down. Those are the only things I can think of that might cause you problems. |
