and inside it was a very nice[needs work] Diana 45 . I traded for it . it took me an hour to get her shooting , but I have to gut her again. it wasn't shot much and for good reason too. the top hat or rear guide has a wore place on the flat part and the trigger housing has a tang wore off letting the top hat turn just enough to keep the sear from grabbing the piston slot. I set the top hat in place so I could shoot some to insure that's all that it needs. unless I find different parts in going to fire up the mig and weld a small bit on both parts , then file them down to a good fit , then dab a little brownell's blue on the weld. this fine old gunhas a very well figured piece of wood and real decent blue on it . looks real nice for 29 years old. its dated 12 - 84 .  |
