15) These rules are for this week's shooting competition and may change for others

Shot in 12:35, using Pardini K10 with RWS Hobby 7gr pellets at 5 metres from hand to target. Scored at 150 I think... yup, checking the 3rd shot (upper middle) with my Eagle Eye it's touching the 10. Shaking badly today. Heck, shaking most of the time lately. Been trying HIT - high intensity training, pushing weights as hard as I can and complementing that with interval training on my runs. Makes for unsteady hands a lot of days, but the day before my next workout is usually better. Fortunately experience seems to be paying off a little in terms of how I time trigger release, so as long as I hold in the general area of the target a higher percentage of shots are dropping in where they're supposed to, even though my hold is absolutely awful for steadiness right now.

Well. Well! I'm not sure I'm even going to be able to see those little bullseyes, let alone hit them. Better get myself going and give it a try.

Nice job Gerard, well done!

OK, I could see them, but I couldn't hit them, or at least not enough of them Smile
And I was scary close to the time limit too. I have to confess that I didn't take careful enough note of the start time to give it to the second, but I *think* I was under the 15 minutes. But over 14. Shocked

Crosman 2240-177, crosman competition wadcutters, open sights. 140/220

Annoyingly, my best group was on the warmup circle, there's 5 on there.

Thanks as always to Al for running the competition!

You're being too hard on yourself Jim. Those groups are every bit as nice as mine, maybe better. It's weird not aiming for centre though and for me at least that's the biggest challenge. I tend to concern myself too much about the nearest edge to the dot and over-compensate, jumping to the opposite side. Seems you managed more consistently at staying near the bulls. On a more subtley graduated target your score would be higher.

Hi, this is my first visit and participation to this thread. I'm french Canadian from Qc so English is a little hard for me. I"ll try this month event and submit my traget. Unemployed at this moment so I have more shooting time to come. This was shoot Inside my home at 5 meter. I'm using a Crosman 2240 mod. + Walther MRS red dot. Reason I'm doing this, only to meet people and try to learn more. Y'ou will see that my pellets are not cutting clean holes, I will get some wadcuter soon as I'm waiting for a .177 cal barrel for my 2240. That was realy fun shooting dots that are not centered verry chalenging and new Very Happy

Pogo If you back it with heavy cardboard from a fruit box it will make a better hole. I use banana boxes. My local wal-mart gives them to me for free.

5 m Pistol
FWB-80, open sights
0.177 RWS meisterkugeln
10 min 17 sec
Score: 165 / 220

Finally decided to try open sights with my recently purchased FWB-80, and it's go amazingly good.
Very surprised and happy about the results.
This 30 years old pistol shoots like magic, I can't believe that from two shots one go to the tiny black circle every time (except first target)
Fantastic!

Sorry about the delay in posting the July shooting results but I have been on the road a lot this month and to be honest I forgot I hadn't done them.

Some very good shooting on a difficult target.

Al
