Toolman, you need to post more, if only because your avatar doesn't hurt my eyes like some of them do! Smile

People do things for reasons their own reasons, or no reason at all. That includes signing up and disappearing. IMO I'm just glad that more than a few more experienced members stick it out and are here to help anyone that asks for assistance.
And for those ghosts that show themselves to register and then just disappear, know that if you act like a ghost hard enough for long enough, eventually you'll end up becoming one.

Sometimes, it takes awhile to get the feel of a place. Subjects have already been covered; the answer to a question already posted. Regulars in some forums (not pointing at this one) will jump all over a new guy for not searching before posting, or simply posting a question or comment that is too simplistic.

I've learned my lesson on a couple of them, but found another that I'm allowed to be a regular contributor. Very few may even recognize my name.

I've been a member here for only a short time, but do visit a couple times per day ... still getting the feel of the do's and dont's ... likes and dislikes. This is why I wanted to give you an idea why I dont jump right in and start posting and contributing to the community. In the larger world of interweb airguns, posting needs to be stepped into gently and maybe alot of the other newer members know this too.

I'm 52; live in Florida/USA; and currently have 7 airpistols/1 rifle/1 carbine. I'm not a professional shooter by any means, nor do I have a full machine shop in my garage. I enjoy shooting targets and cans, or a very rare pest elimination. Other than alot of bling ... all of my guns are pretty much stock internally. You won't see me getting into too many conversations of how to get another 10fps out of a 1377. I'm a simple kind of guy that likes to shoot simply for the fun of watching a can skitter across the yard.

Hope that helps alittle to understand from a guy thats in this position. Smile

Shoot often! AgentWD40

I haven't posted here for a long time. I spend more time on a different forum but I drop in here now and then to see what is going on.

Lost my mother in 2009. 2010 sucked as there was no jobs, house wasn't worth half of what mom owed on it. Moved in my finance, daughter and her mom. Tough times called for tough choices. The only gun I've left is the custom .22 Crosman with 14" barrel. Still haven't done any mods in it, had to sell my drill press to buy food.

Had a run in with Colon cancer back in 2013, moved in with wife's uncle down here in St. Louis. Not the greatest situation, but at least if they allow airgun hunting and if I know where to go, I can fish just using a net! LOL.

Anyone close to ST. Louis, would love to hook up...do some target/bunny shooting!

Jax
