Newbie, Need advice for a scope for a Crosman Fury, Under $100.00 with mil dot , Adjustable focus , The main ones I'm seeing online are Hawke, Barska, & Leapers, Reviews I see for them are not impressive, I know you get what you pay for , Just wanting a reliable scope thats not going to cost more than the gun, or fall apart after a few shots |

I have a Leapers on my Titan. This one, in fact:
http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Leapers_5th_Gen_3_12x40_AO_Rifle_Scope_Ill_Mil_Dot_Reticle_1_4_MOA_1_Tube_Max_Strength_See_Thru_Weaver_Picatinny_Rings/3695
Apparently this one isn't available on Pyramyd anymore, but the unless someone else can contest it, I think the quality should be consistent with their other products.
I was intent on getting a scope without the stupid illumination system but failed. Still the system works OK, a lot better than the one that was on the Gamo monstrosity that came on my Viper.
I must say I am 100% satisfied with this scope. All the bells and whistles are tight and effective. The AO allows one to focus at about 3 yards at about 9 power. It maintains its zero after being adjusted many times. Trust me, I put it through its paces, shooting pest birds at 15-55 yards, and garden moles at about 3. The resettable turrets work. The picture is clear and fairly crisp. (We're not talking Swarovski, but good). Light transmission is reasonable for a scope with an objective this size. |
