I own a 150 acre farm and my wife raises some cattle and I work at honeywell international which is a factory, 51 years old and have always hunted and fished. I came down with a peripheral nerve disease some years ago and my legs get tired fast so my hobby of long winded hunting and fishing trips is too much for me anymore. Dad bought me a fwb 124 sport around 1972 or so and it is an early one, got it from air rifle headquarters in west va. and it doesn't have any beeman markings on it, the serial number is 3159. anyway it needs a new seal and I started reading up on putting a seal and spring in it. so I ordered the super duty kit from JM. waiting for it to arrive. anyway, the more I have read up on my gun and how desirable it was, the more my inner fire came back, as far as air rifles are concerned. great to be here!! kip   Posted: Mon Apr 01, 2013 2:31 am whm1974 Veteran Member Joined: 05 Feb 2013 Posts: 337 Quote: the more I have read up on my gun and how desirable it was, the more my inner fire came back, as far as air rifles are concerned. great to be here!! kip Welcome. Sorry to hear about your disease. If you get glass clean enough and the lighting is just right, glass does become invisible. I had a little problem with a 20hp boiler with your controls on it. Turns out it was an easy fix. Another funny thing that you guys mentioned invisible glass too, yesterday a thief ran right into a glass door trying to run from the cops here. He actually crashed right through it with his body. Get your FWB124 working and start shooting.
