I would like to thank Larry Durham for his information on re-crowning. I applied his idea to my Red Rider and have eliminated the occasional flyers I had experienced. I only had available small fine round file but I carefully tapered the end of the barrel and cleaned out the barrel with a patch. After that I began getting shot groups within 1/2" to 1". at 10 meters. If I had better eye sight I would probably do better. I'm 72 years old and still having fun.
It doesn't get any better than this! |

| True enough- but I don't think Larry Durham is going to see this and for anyone looking for re-crown instructions- better to post a more specific note on where the information can be found. |
