I have an Abzugs Stellschraube Model Bavaria 30 air rifle in excellent condition. What ammo do I use?

The rifle was made in West Germany and belonged to my father. My guess is that it is more than 50 years old. The second picture is fuzzy, but that is where Abzugs Stellschrause is printed. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

What the heck is an "Abzugs" rifle? An "abzug" is a trigger. Is it possible you have the name a bit off?
Perhaps posting a picture would help. |

"Abzugs Stellschraube" translates simply to "trigger screw." Probably not part of the model name - just a label for the trigger adjustment screw (use Google translator).

Look for something on the gun that says "Kal. 4.5" (.177 airgun pellets) or perhaps "Kal. 5.5" (.22 airgun pellets). This schematic diagram suggests that it might be 4.5mm, or .177":

A Google search for "BSF 30 air rifle" will probably give better results than "Bavaria." |

| Anyone get the idea this post was just some sort of spam? I don't see the OP having come back or provided any additional information- and the question seemed pretty odd to start... |
