OK after finding the Powerline 1200 my mother gave me 21 years ago, I'm becoming interested in collecting/shooting airguns again.

So looking around http://www.pyramydair.com
I found these:

http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Crosman_357W_Airgun_Revolver/201

http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/UZI_CO2_BB_Submachine_Gun/2270

http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/IZH_Drozd_MP-661K_Blackbird/1554

http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Crosman_1077_air_rifle/204

So those that have these models, how are they? Any legal issues with the UZI and Blackbird?

hopefully I can get back to shooting airguns soon.

all i can say is welcome and those new crosmans are a lot diffrent than what you have now . im particular to diana guns but they are rather pricy but darn nice right out of the box. several others will chime in with what they like soon

I pulled this out and started shooting it in my basement range, a 9 year old IZH 61. It comes with 2 five round clips, and it's a side cocking repeater so you can keep cranking out rounds pretty fast. Just cock and shoot, no other fiddling around and it's pretty accurate, only 490 FPS. I think I paid around $120? no Co2 to buy is kinda nice and no multi pumping.

They're a lower powered rifle and very easy to cock, mine came with an extra spring I think is supposed to be a higher compression but I never tried it, shoots fine as is. They're pretty much target shooting only, not stron enough for hunting but they are cool.

Thanks, I'm a shooter and collecter, not a hunter. So this model will be fine for me.

Thanks for the reply. I may or may not get one since I'm thinking of trying out rat hunting.

These little guns have features a lot of others don't, I especially like the auto indexing of the clip each time you cock it, I have not seen this in anything that price range, and mine actually came with an extra clip. I was looking at the Avanti 853 which looks interesting, but I think you have to cycle the bolt after the one pump, to index a pellet. I wish a manufacturer would come out with a rifle you pumped say, 15 times and then got 5-10 shots semi-auto Mr. Green

A pump version of the Crosman 1077 maybe? Index the clip by pulling the trigger. Even pumping it once for each shot would be cool.

I owned and used a number of airguns over the past 6 or 7 years. I do mostly target shooting and want airguns that are pretty accurate and repeatable, I like the Daisy Powerline 953. It's a single pump, 5 shot repeater that is very accurate. I've never shot it over 50 feet, but it's a great little target rifle at that distance. I also have a Crosman 2260 CO2 rifle that I like a lot. And, I just bought a Crosman 2289 Backpacker which is part of their doomsday bugout package... $79 at Pyramid. I had a Crosman 1077 and found that it's accuracy is not very repeatable. Don't know about the others you mentioned.

Thanks chuck. After reading some reviews and thinking of taking up rat hunting, the list of airguns I want have changed.
