Has anybody ever worked on one of these guns and are they worth the effort and cost
i think i need a new mainspring setup and some trigger parts

Welcome to AirGunHome gdsm10airgunner.
I used to have a .22 Relum Tornado way back in the 1960s and from what I remember it was easy to work on, they do shoot well but I’m not sure what parts are available these days. You could try here for spares:

They are worth refurbishing provided you can keep the cost down.

the trigger adjusting screw on the relum is housed inside the stock bolt does anyone know what size the thread is so i can replace it. They are sold as a unit and i only want the inner screw
