I'm looking for a used or new QB57. Would prefer a .22 but am not stuck on that.

Any tips to finding one are also welcome.

Thanks,
Dave

There are only two sources for them in North America currently;

Archer in the US
ScopesAndAmmo.com in Canada

Does anyone know anything about them? Is it a good gun?

Know anything about accuracy? I'm a bit of a stickler. I do like the look and functionality of the gun though.

We have only shot Crosman pointed pellets out of it and it's very accurate at 25 yards. That's as far as we shot it so far.

QB57s are a crap shoot as to what condition they come in, I have 2 and they both came in different internal condition. One was clean and shiny and the other was full of goop, however they both exceed their stated velocity after a good clean, polish and lube. I get 2" groups at 40yds with both the .177 and the .22 although I have heard of people having better luck. I like them but I had to do a bit of extra work to get the .22 accurate, I found it took a while to learn how to shoot them consistently. Check out the gallery for "my QB57 mod".I have put 6000 pellets through the .22 and 2500 through the .177 and no mechanical failures even after multiple accidental dry fires. I believe they are good guns. There are a lot of reviews on the net and I probably read them all so I was prepared for anything and I've never regretted getting one.

This is not a review request sub-forum. If you need opinions on a rifle, try the rifle section.

WTF???

Pretty sure it's up to the site admin/moderators to clear that type of stuff up (which, btw, they didn't seem to have a problem with)

Not to mention that you are almost 3 months late with your (irrelevant) reply... Rolling Eyes
