Hi all,
I'm shooting a Benjamin Trail All-Weather Nitro Piston in .177 at about 25 yards off hand. I'm wondering if anyone has tips for proper hold and stance for this type of rifle? Also, would using a sling help? I haven't shot one on an airgun before. |

Nitro piston guns require essentially the same shooting technique as spring piston guns. No matter the position, artillery hold is key for optimum accuracy. Also, they have a little less recoil, and some have a smoother shot cycle than a springer, so they are just barely a little easier to shoot. Btw as a side note, welcome to the board. |

| Thanks for the welcome and the advice. I'll loosen up on the gun and hopefully my groups will improve. I am enjoying the gun so far, it is pretty quiet and has almost no recoil. |

| Keep your spine straight, don't jerk the trigger. My titan doesn't really need a full-loose artillery hold, I just hold it loosely. The buck doesn't bother me, never bothered me in the springer either. Just work on shooting right. |
