Of buying one. They're .22's, which I want.
My main question, is I actually have no idea how you charge these PCP tanks. I wouldn't have to take it back to a filler station like a paintball tank, would I? Thats a PITA.
They've got pretty good reviews on Pyramid. Do you guys think I can trust a refurb? They have a 30 day warrantee anyway... |

The Hatsan AT44 (which is what a Pneuma is) are good rifles.... They fill to 190-200 Bar (2750-2900 psi) so you won't get many fills from a SCUBA tank and they will be a bit of a bear to pump unless you're husky.... The best way to fill would be from a 4500 psi SCBA tank, but then you have to have a fill station close by that can fill that....

| You can manually pump it? With a bicycle pump, right? I'm young enough to put my back into that. How many shots do you get off a tank? How much does a scuba tank cost? I have no idea where to fill one of those, though. My granny uses O2 tanks to breath, could I jerry-rig it up to one of those? :P |

Yes, you can use a manual pump, and it LOOKS like a bicycle pump, but it has 3 stages and can pump up to 3000 psi instead of about 100 psi.... They cost about $150-$300 for the pump.... Each fill of the gun will give you about 25-30 shots....
DO NOT USE Oxygen (O2).... it can cause an explosion in the airgun if there is even a tiny trace of oil anywhere in the system.... Airguns use AIR (although Nitrogen, being inert, is OK)....
A SCUBA tank will run about $100-$200 plus a fill station to attach it to your gun ~$50.... Filling the tank will cost $5-10 per fill.... Because most SCUBA tanks are 3000 psi, you will get very few fills on a Hatsan as they fill to nearly the same pressure....

| NO to O2!!!! If your on a budget or don't mind some exercise then get a pump like a Hill. That is a sweet deal but I would wonder what the refurb issue was on the one I would intend to buy. I would buy one right now if it weren't for me wanting to shoot in my neighborhood. For that I am going with a M-Rod. |

Haha cool guys, I was just kidding about the O2 but thanks for looking out for me
I might have to buy one...that sucks that the pump costs that much though. |
