sun shade for centerpoint 40mm adventure class scope

Anyone know where to get one? I found a bunch for other brands, but not sure if they'll fit my scope. looking for a 3" sunshade. thanks!

Crosman used to sell them. I contacted them about it a few months ago since I saw it on their website. They told me they were out of stock and were not going to get anymore.

Yea they stopped selling those... to individuals at least. I was thinking maybe a leapers sunshade would be compatible, as leapers and CP scopes look identical.

I bought a Leapers scope just for the sunshade. I will try the sunshade from my Leapers on my Centerpoint and let you know if it fits.

Ok...I tried the sunshade from my Leapers on my Centerpoint scope and it didn't fit. I have the Centerpoint scope that came with my Trail 3x9x40 AO. It's not an adventure class scope but I assume they are the same. The threads on the Leapers are finer than the Centerpoint so no go...

Go to Home Depot or Lowes, head to the Shop Vac section. The extension ends for the larger shop vacs fit on the end of the CP scopes, and you can cut it whatever length you want
