| A ' newbie ' here ... broke the stock on my Gamo Hunter 880-s . The wood was 'low grade' anyhow ... would like to replace it , perfer to change to a synthetic . Already called GamoUSA . They said they would get back with me . Are there any aftermarket synthetic stocks that would fit ? Q:#2 : If you had to keep the budget between 5 - 6 hundred $ , wanted a new gun , use it mostly for hunting , therefore , wanting all the qualities of quiet, accurate,& powerful (but like targetting too) ... what would you buy ??? |

Received a call from a gamo rep & he said a stock from the ' Shadow ' will fit & work . Anybody out there that can possibly confirm that based on experience ??? Reason : Another gamo rep e-mailed me saying that model has been discontinued for a long time & gamo didn't have anything to help me ... see what I mean ??? ... ... ...  |

well I think your in luck
I believe the 880 is same physical powerplant as the 440.
Which means it is a B18/19 powerplant.
This means that the stock from any B18/19 powerplant should be workable.
That is at least 75% or more of every breakbarrel crosman, gamo and stoeger make. |
