Suuuweeeet!
Thanks Joe. That is probably the most complete tap drill chart I have seen.
I'll be plasticizing that baby
Who did you go with? Up here we have two real options. Fastenal and Brafasco. Of the two Fastenal is definitely the easier to deal with. |

Tacoma Screw Products
www.tacomascrew.com
Staffed with real Hardware guys not youngsters just out of high school. These guys have real experience, know what you're talking about and if ya don't, they will educate you.
Fastenal is good, if you know exactly what you want. Tacoma Screw will help you find a solution. Big difference when you are designing something and not sure whats available in hardware.
Moving to Boise was a great choice for the resources I needed. It's a nice mix with farming & manufacturing playing a big part of local economy. Then there is the guns!
This is just a short list...
Tacoma Screw & Interstate Plastics are literally, just around the corner.
Pacific Metals is less than 5 miles from the shop.
Many different metal finishers all over the city.
Anodizing, Hot Salt Bluing, Parkerizing, Plating, so on and so on.
Then we got:
Tactical Solutions is just on the opposite side of the airport from me.

Gemtech Suppressors www.gem-tech.com
Blackhawk www.blackhawk.com
Tactical Innovations www.tacticalinc.com
I know where Sniper will be hanging out with his Woody when he gets here. WoodCraft is just on the other side of the freeway from me.

Always good to have reference materials handy.
This is the one I use...came from an old (1950's?) Popular Mechanics IIRC. It's the only one I've ever seen with drill for 50, 75 and 100% on it.
