Hahaha Thanks thats a good sign. I just need the rest of the info.
What pellet or a variety of pellets.

Just the head just into the muzzle.

Using something like this as a scale

loose
an easy fit
goes in but snugly
quite snug
can't shove it all the way in with a thumb

Crossman Premier HP 14.3 gr & Crossman Hunting (Pointed) 14.3.
With both variants; the head of the pellet goes in part way (50%) till the skirt & the rest has to be gently nudged in with the skirt perfectly covering the lip of the ID of said calibre (.22) From what I can say, if I dare so ... it is a perfect fit.
mmm .. in between easy fit & snug ... "comfortable" ?

It's not quite a perfect candidate for just lapping a choke but I would likely try it based on what your saying.
If a CPHP or CP Ultramag was tight enough that the head would not slip in easily it's better.

Here is a procedure for hand lapping a choke
