| I have the new Benji Trail NP in .22 caliber. I think the scope is less than desirable but comes with the gun so no complaints. I do wish places like PA where I bought mine would offer a value of the scope to order a scope of choice upgrade instead. But back to the gun itself. Great looking gun from the box; seems well made; the long trigger is horrific (I suggest you invest $32 to get the Charlie DaTuna drop in true 2 stager made of anodized aluminum). This will help you for sure in your groupings. As far as NP powerplant...............this is my first so the verdict still out. I well tuned springer can be a delight if you never had one! But the nitro piston may be the future to a degree. The fact the gun can be cocked all day with no adverse effects is great! So they claim. 70% quiter............not sure yet. Any gun from the box with oiling will have a dieseling effect until cleaned and shot to break in the barrel. I suggest anyone with any gun pump about 200-250 quality pellets down the barrel for break in before even thinking about sighting in either iron sights or with a scope. The gun itself I believe a winner. Some bad reviews out there but that is indicative of anything made anywhere! Overall, good rifle; with a trigger by Charlie; great! As far as modding the stock trigger............heard it can be done if you know what to do! These guns have been through the trial phase I believe and current ones decent out of the box. But QC being made in China can be spotty. But the gun has a 1 year I believe so not too shabby. Problems usually present themselves from the box or very quickly with use. Congrats on the gun and enjoy! |

get H&N Field Target Trophy pellets and never look back. Great all arounder and super accurate even in a brand new newly fired Benji Trail! I also shoot JSB Heavy Exact Diablo's! Super nice pellet that from epllet to pellet hardly any deviation!
The H&N I mentioned are what was tested to be best for this gun. But to each their own of course. |

Hi, new to the forum, I have the Titan GP and have found it to be very accurate out of the box even with the crummy triger. I have been shooting Crossman Premier HP at 20 yards off of a very soft down coat and after only 50 shots am grouping 3/4' to 1". I have a Chrliedatuna trigger coming and will be up grading the scope. I find the gun very comfortable and quieter than my RWS 48 .177. Much more pleasant to shoot with the gas piston than the RWS springer. Any thoughts about a Leepers 3x9x40 AO/ILL mildot on this gun? Anyone out there use one. Thanks.

Philly,
I have the Nitro Venom and mounted a CenterPoint 4-16x40 scope on there. It's a nice scope for the gun, hitting a ragged hole from 25 yards with it so far. |

| i have 1 of those $149. benji titans from wally world it like all crosman chinese guns got a grt III its getting quieter as i shoot it i belive i have ran mabe 500-6-- rounds through it quieter than any of my 34's and quest it hits hard for what it cost but over my crony it ran 50-90 ft per second behind my diana 34 and the diana might have had 200-300 shots as i just got it so when diana gets broke in more i wonder if they will be further apart? but i was definatly surprized when i first shot it . the barrel had lots of junk in it took several patches soaked in gunzillia to get her clean and for the first 100 shots it was harder than he %% to cock now mabe 20-25 pounds force to cock . not bad for something diffrent . i got mine just to satisfy the nitro craze |

| Any feedback about the Benjamin Titan GP? I know it's basically a crossman model. I can't find anything about it, really...just vague likes and dislikes. Didn't seem to be very popular. |
I got the Crosman Titan GP, basically the same thing, except I got the .22 low velocity version to shoot in my garage. It is my first GP airgun, and I love it so much I want to convert my spring piston guns to GP.
I want to buy the parts, and do the conversion myself, but so far I've been told I have to send my airgun(s) in and have the "experts" do the work.
I am quite qualified to do this myself, If I can just find someone to sell me the parts. Anybody know where I can buy them? |

There is no reason at all that you can't do the work yourself if you have basic tools and a little mechanical knowledge it should be no more difficult than replacing a spring.
Let us know what models are you thinking about converting. We should be able to help you find the parts |

Thank you.
I have a Gamo Whisper, and a Beeman RS2 to convert.
I shoot mostly in my garage, and have a hobby machine shop, and a full sized metal lathe. I'm a retired tool & die maker. I've already made modifications to sporterize the Beeman. The Beeman has a trigger I'd like to add to the Gamo, and my new Crosman Titan NP.
If I can find out where to buy just the Nitro Piston, I can do the mods myself, and save the shipping both ways |

For the whisper I'm pretty sure the same piston that is in your crosman should work You can get that straight from crosman. The RS2 I'm not sure yet.... I know someone that ordered a bunch of offshore NP's for conversions. I'll track him down and get some info.
Many airguns are based on a platform called the B18/19. Parts are largely workable between any model based on the same platform. (with minor fitting) Your Titan is definitely a B18/19 |

one of the biggest problem is the trigger...NOT very good for the biggest part and even with a replacement, still not real good.
nevertheless...
they're very powerful and reliable and to some degree, accurate. |
