| For the 1322, you may want to get something like a 4x32 scope. You know, just so you have a better range. |

I have a similar setup on my 2004 pistol, and it transformed the gun:
Advantages:
1. It has a nice wide field, so it comes on target quickly.
2. It is a single plane sighting system, so you only have to focus on the target.
3. It allows you to keep both eyes open.
4. Eye relief is pretty much anything you want it to be.
Disadvantages:
1. It will probably have parallax error - if you hold the gun still, the dot will move as you move your head. You will have to remember to shoot with the dot in the center of the field.
2. The dot could be too bright indoors and too dim outdoors, even with adjustability.
3. A 4 M.O.A. dot will obscure small targets indoors, so really precise work is out. (Unless you can dim it enough to see the target through the dot.)
4. You have to remember to turn it off.
Within the performance envelope of a pistol it's a wonderful alternative. For a long gun with more range a scope might be better - but it depends on your intended use. |

You don't really need anything too expensive, so you could go with a Center Point or Leapers. However, Slavia's setup is nice as well. |

Thank you Slavia for your comment, I have already ordered the scope in my first comment but was wondering if its going to be ok with my 1322. I also want to order a 14 inch barrel for it also.

That's a $30 BSA sight from Cabela's. (I added the knobs and caps.) I have tried the $10 15mm red dot sights, but didn't like them. For one thing, 15mm is a pretty small hole to look through. Also, the adjusting screws are metal turning in plastic.
Be sure the mount will fit your gun - many of these are for a 5/8" dovetail (Weaver/Picatinny). Here's the same model BSA, but with a 5/8" mount. I needed to use adapters to fit it to the B3-2's 3/8" dovetail:

You will need a dovetail to weaver adapter to use that Red Dot sight I believe. I have a BSA Red Dot sight on my 1377 and it works great.

Red dot sights on air rifles are awesome. I had one on my .22 CFX, I always nailed my target, right where I aimed. Hell, I could hit standard school chalk-sticks all day long under 20 metres. and they are only 8mm wide, and 60mm long . Sorry all you imperial measurement countries ;
