But they're a tad light for any serious hunting application. And since they're supposed to hold their form after penetration, the issue of pass through shots are going to be a pretty obvious concern. I have 2 places up here that you MUST use air gun .177 and strongly suggest non toxic shot. Hopefully it's not just a B3 in fancy wood, because it is awfully pretty. I would shy away from the plastic encased pellets. But I've always been of the belief that these issues could be eliminated by streamlining the projectile's plastic skirt to make a smooth connection to its metal head, and increasing and balancing the weight inside the plastic skirt. It's just a theory, but I believe thats what they've done with these Gold Flight pellets, so they should be better than Skenco. _________________ There is no tradition greater than the hunt, passed through countless generations.
