Stupid accurate, kicking JSB's at 870-890-870 over 20 shots, and just barely louder than my XL. Got a CP 4-16x40 ao on her. I think I'm finally going to need a tank lol, can't put it down

Very nice!....I'd get a tank set up for sure,as that gun is going to dump a-lot of air per shot. That rig is going to do a number on small game....we want pics of the carnage as it comes.... Laughing

SWEEEET Smile That thing is gonna have more than a few critters on their toes. But why .25? I personally would have gone with a .22 for range & fill efficiency. Just me, but still very nice choice. Congrats, and enjoy your new acquisition.
Scuba set up isn't mandatory, but it'll help you enjoy shooting by not being tired when you could be out doing some critter carnage. I'm saving up right now for an FX Revolution. At the current cost, & my current rate of saving, I might get it by the time I retire Laughing Laughing

Stupid accurate doesnt even begin to cover it. I got the hill hand pump with mine and its not too bad from 2000 to 3000. Mine is almost exclusive with benji domed.

Is that a custom stock ?

I dont know about domer, but I heard about the .22 having issues and the though of chucking a .25 cal 28 gr pellet in the 900 fps range was too much to pass up.

Sure the .22 is more efficient with air management thus shot count, but that .25 is going to retain more energy downrange. The trajectory will be a-little more pronounced, but not enough to quickly get used to,with some practice, and optics adjustment.

Another benefit of the .25 over the .22 is the barrel. It is not made by Crosman...I believe the Company is called Green Mountain,if I can remember correctly. They make the barrel Specifically for the .25...supposed to be dead nuts accurate...everything about accuracy I've seen is positive. You can bet that the .25 is going to be a squirrel crusher no matter hoe you slice it.I've seen some pictures of .25 Marauder carnage.....nickel sized exit wounds.... Shocked

Dont be like me and think its such a killer that you can take a half honest shot. I have a thread here that shows a entry and exit wound on a squirrel that got knocked silly by my shot and took out its eye and a good portion of bone mass in the head. The thing was hoping around 20 mins or so after the shock wore off and I had to put another in him to finish it. This was within 25 yards with a full fill.

Cant wait to see what you do with that bad boy.

I agree..shot placement is still key.Even though you smacked that nutter with 40 FPE or so,sounds like you were just slightly forward of the brain on that initial shot.None the less, squirrels are tough no doubt.I would have thought that just the concussion caused by that much energy would have dropped it outright.I saw those pics, and you thumped that sucker good....must have been a mutant zombie squirrel.... That and I already knew the gun is a rock solid performer, and wouldn't have to burn time and pellets tuning and tweaking things. Plus I like the stock, which isn't custom, he just reshaped and refinished it. This one will probably get fed JSB Kings exclusively, they're like lasers out of her. Pictures of carnage sure to come
