My wife hollered at me and says "I have something for you that your gonna like"....well alrighty then!!!!!!!!!. So I walk in the door and there she stands holding a new yeller box with my Benji NP XL 1100 .22 cal.
I just ordered this gun from Amazon Tuesday morning of this week?...and its already here today after them saying with free delivery it would be between the 5th and 10th of Jan. Way ta go Amazon!
I unpacked and inspected everything about the gun and it was really nice shape....even the wood is nice on this gun.
The scope is now properly mounted and aligned, the strap is on, and the gun is all cleaned up and waiting some sight in time.
I do have a question. On the box, it says "Enhanced Trigger Package....Two Stage Adjustability"
Is this the standard trigger that will need replaced with the GRT III?....or is this a new trigger that they have changed too?......
Looking forward too seeing how well this thing sights in and how long it takes too get it broke in!.
I want too thank everyone here for all the info. I've read on this before buying! And thanks for the forthcoming answere too questions I'm sure too have as we go thru the sighting and shooting procedures too get it right!. |

Oh yeah.......if anyone is interested....this gun is very large and heavy!
48 and 1/4" long and weighs in on my digital scales at 11 lbs. and 6 oz.
So if your looking for a hunting gun that is lightweight and easy too handle in the woods......this might not be the wise choice for you!.
That weight is with the sling and scope mounted!. |

Excellent!
Have a great time breaking that rifle in. Breaking in a rifle and testing dozens of different pellets is one of my favourite parts of airgunning. |

I have the Benjamin NP Trail, the non-PAL version and I'm quite pleased with mine too. Mine is heavy too and has an Enhanced Trigger Package but I haven't yet played with the adjustment. I'm not positive if the stock trigger is truly adjustable but I know there are better adjustable trigger setups available but be careful what you order. The adjustable trigger for the Benj Trail won't work on the Benj NP XL.
I'm not positive is the NP is quieter or has less recoil than a springer. I'll have to do more shooting.
If I had a PAL I would have ordered the XL package too.
I think your choice of the .22 cal was wise too. Maybe not as fast as a .177 but more punch. |

I have a Bennjamin Trail NP XL 1500, and I could not be happier. However, it did take me a little while to get used to the weight. 10 lbs. is almost as much a me!   |
