I am very excited about it as I have wanted one of these for a while. There are tons of upgrades that can be done to this pistol right? I was also wondering what pellet do you guys find works the best in this gun? Yes you can add tons of Mods to this Air Pistol. You can add a Steel Breach, Flat Top Piston, Shoulder Stock, Mount a Scope, add a 24" Barrel, Paint it, and much much more! My 1377c shot pellet on pellet with the Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum 10.5 Gr. However, the pellet does ot have the velocity for great Penetration, so I then switched to traditional Crosman Pointed pellets. Its a fitting that is cast iron and I have no idea on how to work with that stuff, Pretty much 90% of plumbing in the house is PVC but this isnt. We also got the roof re-shingled on Monday and last month had a new furnace and A/C unit installed. So to say that Im broke is a understatement. I had a new one in the box my mother-in-law gave me last year that was my late father-in-law's gun, and I gave it to a friend of mine who likes to shoot air pistols more than I do. I kind of wish I still had it now. Canada Jeremy did you happen to buy a refurbished 1377 from ScopesAndAmmo.com? I recently bought one from them complete with a shoulder stock. The pistol is a workout. I'm always worried about catching my fingers between the barrel & stock. But it does shoot straight. The first mod that I'm planning is a steel breech to allow me to mount a pistol scope or a Red Dot. Then maybe I'll do an adjustable trigger. I won't be putting a longer barrel on it. The FTP is definitely one of the best mods for the 1377 as well as the woodward sear. Actually with an ftp you can get just over 500fps with the stock 10.1" barrel. It is really the barrel that determines the velocity on these guns. Increasing the hammer spring weight will allow you to put in more pumps before the valve locks up but all you get is a bigger BANG without velocity. with an FTP expect 540 -550fps with Cros Premiers at 15 pumps _________________ Sean Jeremy   Posted: Mon Jan 16, 2012 5:19 pm GeepII Member Joined: 14 Jan 2012 Posts: 63 Location: Martinsburg, WV. Great choice Jeremy I have a old 1377 around here somewhere and it shoots as good as the day I got it many years ago. I am now in the middle of customizing my Crosman 1322, ordered the super pumper forearm and target shooting grips for it today in Cocobolo wood high gloss and am in the middle of ordering a lazer sight for it.
