I have the rangefinder on my AirRanger. I do not like having to change it to see a moving target.
I would not recomend it .
Trying to hold a gun one handed while you move around a tree following a tree rat. Trying to adjust a rangefinder, is not my ideal of fun.
Some day, I will pull the scope and replace it.
Jsb's for pellets. |

| I have two of the Hawke Tactical scopes (4.5-14 & 8.5-25) and would highly recommend them, but then I am strictly a target shooter. I can see how a hunter would not want an AO scope for a moving target. One can use lower magnifiction on an AO scope then the object wil stay in focus longer than if high magnification is used. |

I use my AO scopes on 3X to 6X for hunting and have no problem. Set the AO at 25 yards and have taken 60 yard shots no problem. The 6X is a little hard to stay on a moving tree rat I prefer 4X or less. IT is nice to zoom in a long range shot if you can and find out exactly how far away it is with the Adjustable AO. |
