Here a couple of funny ones! I got shoe box to fill my air tanks and as a part of the system you got to have a small compressor to feed the Shoe box compressor!
Well I always I mean ALWAYS forget to shot off the the little compressor!!! ANd wont you know it has a very slow leak as I hooked up a few in line filters, anyhow my airshop is right under my bed in the basement and guess what I hear smack dab in the middle of the night a LOUD EEEERRRRRRRERRRRERRRERRERR!!!!!!!
That little pancake vibrating compressor waking me up in the middle of the night! Never does it go off during the day time when I am around no no no! What are the chances! This happens all the time!! Man I need to get some tape on my finger may be then I will remeber to shut it off
Now I got a new .25 sumatra and I still have not got a safe for my guns so I have it under me bed to keep it safe I like to keep my PCP full as I shoot them all the time!! Well here I am just falling a sleep and all of a sudden I hear a REALYY LOUD HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
I am jumping up and dowm is the cmpressor on no is it my air tank no what is it what is it. Its my new sumatra AHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA well at 1am I got my grielfriend up she thinks I past nuts and got a gun in my hand hissing like no tomorrow so I run to the dinning room hit hit the lights and I see there it is THE ORING! on the pressure guage or mano meter or what ever you call it blew!!!
Right past the threads on the guage???? So I of course wait till its out of air well mostly and unscrew the guage and frantically find and new oring I think might fit and whalla put it all back together!!! FIll it up and am sleeping like a man buy a busy train track the rest of the night or moring to be exact and up at 5 am for work!!
Man I am messed up just could leave it till after work to fix! Anyhow just thought I would share my crazy addiction with all you addicts hope you got a laugh I did |

You are now one of the few. You were warned beforehand, but now you are inextricably cursed with AGAS, Air Gun Acquisition Syndrome. We're sorry, but there is no way out. You will be tinkering and playing with airguns for the rest of your life.
On another note, if you wire up an outlet that both your pancake and your Shoebox is on the same circuit, then you could shut them both off with one switch. I get paid big money as an electrician to come up with things like that. lol I would use 12/2wg and a 20 amp breaker and outlet, just to be safe. If you think it will take more, go to 30 amp and 10/2wg. |

Ya good I dea I was thinking of buy passing my switch on my shoe box and just going to a timer. That way I can hit 4500 psi all the time. It is very consitant in the amount of time it takes to fill up from 3300 to 4500 is ussually my range.
I diffenetly can't denny It I am a ADDICT and the only cure is to buy more toys oh I mean guns I no sooner get one and then I am already eyeing up the next one. I still want a nitrogenpiston break barrel. well what I really want is a underlever nitro piston So far I have not come across one. Not sure why I do but I do know I do. I got 5 PCP"S and I will be adding to them too as I need a big bore yet. Kinda waiting on Evanix to see what there new ones will be like and priced. Then a something big likt a 50 cal pusing 600fpe or so well more if I can afford it. So little money and soo manny GUNS!! |

jimineecricket,
I know the feeling. Got my Shoebox and tank last month . I had the tank filled for several weeks before my PCP rifle arrived. I was hoping to run the Shoebox in the house, but too much noise. It is residing in the garage so my wife can sleep... |

| lol I can see this happening. Marisa used to get pretty pissed when I'd wake up and start into a project morning couldn't wait for. Glad someone else in the bunch has it as bad as I do |
