I recently got a Benjamin discovery Air rifle and although the pump works,,, I'd like to get scuba tank to fill from.
The reviews on the Crosman tank adapter are less than stellar so,
Any thoughts on the subject?
Thanks

Funny, Crosman has one on their web site.
http://www.crosman.com/airguns/accessories/pcp/FAH003
I bought a used 80cuft tank, $40
It's at the dive shop getting a hydo, visual inspection and fill.
Thanks for the links, I'll check 'em out |

Ah, yes, had forgotten about it- no one buys it, too expensive compared to ones like the unit I pointed out.
That being said- what are these "less than stellar reviews"? It's a SCUBA yoke of common design for paintball/airgun use- unless it blows the gauge face off- what are people claiming the issue is with them? |

The main complaint was the joints leak.
Most said that once they'd disassembled it, used Teflon tape and reassembled it, it worked fine.
Just seems to me you shouldn't have to rebuild something straight out of the box.
Thanks for the Links!
I'm going to order the fill station and hose today

i got mine thru www.airgunsofarizona.com and another thru www.airforceairguns.com.
both are quality and both are not cheap, though
make sure you get a "K" valve on a SCUBA tank if you get a SCUBA tank. they do come with DIN valves as well and require special adapters that are hard/expensive to come by as i recall |

| Turns out the SCUBA industry has had some differing "standards" than the rest of the world- different way to consider tanks pressures, different tanks valves ('J' Style, 'K' Style, DIN)- fortunately almost everything bought in North America these days uses the same valve ('K' style)- but still- an entire industry of this size can't standardize things better? |

| Been happy with the DIN vavle set up no problem filling everything is basicly hand tight. Set up my probes and guns to have a foster QD set up and away I go no hassel no wrenches just fill and go. If I have the scuba shop fill my tank I just unscrew the hose from my DIN and they screw there's in and whala full of air no tools required. |

Yeehaw! Just talked to the dive shop. The tank passed Hydro!
They're going to do the Viz tomorrow and I'll get over there to pick it up on Thursday
I ordered the Ninja Paintball fill yoke and extension hose, should be here next week. |

If you decide to bench shoot with a in-line Reg... You will want to upgrade the Ninja whip... I've blown a couple of them out with consistent 2000 psi.
Ninja exchanged them no problem... and they are good for fill hoses... just not for constant bench feed.
I find the red "pre-made" industrial High Pressure Grease gun hoses work better... I still have yet to blow one of them out.
Don't have them make them up in-house... the last one I had made lasted 15 mins and started blistering.
The last few red pre-made hoses I bought where through Hose & Fitting in West Sacramento, CA. They can handle a consistent 4800 psi.
No on-line ordering with Hose & Fitting. You'll have to call them at 888.760.4673
Ask them about the pre-packaged "Red" Grease Gun hoses.
The come in different lengths with 1/8" FNPT fittings all ready attached. |

Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs!
You lucky stiff... you got quite a play ground there... But I don't miss the Winters.... |
